Don't you just hate it when you can't
connect a name to a face? Well, you don't have to worry about
that when talking to us!
The most important thing to the team at Raindrop Studios is
transparency. Whether it is for our latest game development updates,
or getting to know new people, we believe you all should know the truth.
So, why not meet the team?
Hello, my name is Simeon,
and I am a fourth-year CSE student at the University of Nevada, Reno. My
main focus regarding Mōri’s development has been the implementation of the
combat system and the animations associated with it. My gaming journey
started with a rip of Call of Duty (2003) that my dad had on our family computer
and evolved to include various other genres over the years, from MOBAs like League of
Legends to survival games like Subnautica. My recent rotation includes Lies
of P and Elden Ring, which heavily inspire me to create robust and satisfying
combat mechanics. Outside of the virtual world, I spend my time rock climbing and going to
as many live shows as my wallet allows. This is the first game I have had the privilege to
work on, and I am excited to see where this project goes!
Heyo, everybody! My name Sam, and I
am one of the developers working on Mōri. I am a senior at the University of Nevada,
Reno and am currently pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering, as well as
a minor in Journalism and Mathematics. I plan to use my credentials for video game journalism
and video game development, but I would also like to prusue web development. The reason I wanted
to make Mōri with Aidan, Arvind, and Simeon is because I have always been fascinated with
video games. Working with my colleagues has allowed me to get hands on experience with basic game
development using the Unity engine. As one of Mōri's developers, I am responsible for the
map and scene designs, as well as the player mechanics our users will be introcuded to.
Hello, my name is Arvind Pagidi, I’m currently a majoring in Computer Science and Engineering at the
University of Nevada, Reno. For the game Mori, I help build the initial main menu
and pause screen. I’ve also been mainly focusing on building the inventory system
for our game. Video games have always been a strong passion for ever since I was a little kid. I remember
my first video game that I’ve played was Super Mario Galaxy. Ever since I’ve been in love with video games
playing a whole genre of games like The Legend of Zelda, Call of Duty, and Spider-Man. Getting
to build this game and learning the Unity game engine has been a fun experience and hope that I continue to
make small fun games in the future. I also like to play golf, go skiing, and watch movies and tv shows. My
favorite show is Friends.
Hello! My name is Aidan, and I’m a 4th-year CSE student at the University of Nevada, Reno and another one
of the developers for Mori. I’ll be graduating in the fall of 2026 with a bachelor's in Computer Science &
Engineering, including a minor in Mathematics. The idea of making a game has also been interesting to me. When
I was younger, I modded my Wii and would write my own code to use in games like Mario Kart, and this feels
similar to that experience. During my free time, I enjoy music production and lifting. Working with this group
has been great for getting experience with the Unity engine and collaborating on a large scaled project. I’ve
been responsible for the movement, combat system, Menu UI, scene building, sound effects, and particle
effects.
